Health and Safety Policy
As an engineering company operating worldwide, DDI Engineering makes occupational health and safety a primary objective in all of their activities both in the United States and abroad. The company acknowledges and accepts its statutory responsibility for securing the health, safety and welfare of all its employees and others involved with the activities of the company.
Ultimate responsibility for formulating the Health and Safety Policy and its implementation lies with the Managing Director. Identified within the Policy are the detailed organizational responsibilities for every level within the organization. Any recommendations to improve our safety program are encouraged and welcomed. The company will take steps, so far as is reasonably practicable, to meets its health and safety responsibilities, paying particular attention to:
- The provision and communication of suitable and sufficient assessments of the health and safety risks to employees and others. Safe Systems of Work will be developed following this Risk Assessment process.
- The provision of sufficient information, instruction, training and supervision to enable its employees to avoid hazards and contribute positively to their own safety and health at work.
- The safe provision, maintenance and arrangements for the use, handling, storage and transportation of plant, equipment, and materials.
- A safe and healthy working environment with adequate sanitary and welfare facilities.
- The provision of adequate financial and physical resources to achieve this.
- Recognizing the importance of all employees’ commitments to these obligations.
- The company with regard to all the establishments where it is assigned a mandate or responsibility in occupational health and safety matters, has an objective of zero (0) accidents in the workplace and the elimination at source of any risk or danger. Employees also have a duty to support the company by:
- Adhering to any and all of the requirements laid down within its policies and procedures.
- Reporting any accidents, incidents that may have occurred or any defects or other deficiencies in any plant or equipment in use.
- Engaging in any of the communication, consultation, training procedures that the company uses.
DDI Engineering recognizes that effective management of health and safety is not only a duty owed to its staff but also provides an enormous contribution to business performance. It will, consequently, continually strive for improvement through involvement with staff and developing a culture where two-way communication can thrive. The company safety policy will be reviewed every 12 months or as necessary and any revisions will be brought to the attention of employees.

Electrical & Mechanical Field Service – Installation, Startup, De-bug, and Test
DDI Engineering has an engineering staff that is willing to come onsite to help get your machinery and equipment running. We'll make sure your equipment is up and running when you need it to be. If you have an emergency DDI is available for quick quotes and is able to offer same-day service in many situations. DDI is available to clients all over the world.
Control Systems Installation, Startup, De-bug, and Test
Expertise with most PLC's, PC's, HMI's, Electrical, Pneumatic, Hydraulic, Instrumentation, and Calibration. DDI can also Retrofit your Control System. Typical Controls Retrofits can include: The addition of a simple digital read our system, -Installation of a complete CNC automation system, Incorporation automation into a manual machine, Upgrading to a higher end PLC or PC, or Adding in-line test capabilities to an existing line.
Machine Repair and Refurbish
Your machine will be rebuilt to like-new condition and will be returned to OEM standard of alignment and performance. We will completely disassemble your machine and all components will be thoroughly inspected and evaluated. Worn components will be repaired or replaced. Upon completion of rebuild, we will perform testing of all machine functions. All work will be fully documented, guaranteed and backed with over 20 years of experience in machinery rebuild. We can rebuild nearly every type and brand of machinery you may have, including, but not limited to: twin screw mixers, batch mixers, vertical mixers, extruders, centrifuges, centrifugal separators, energetic mixers, machine tools, including lathes, mills, grinders, presses, machining centers, turning centers, custom machinery, etc.
